I was out sky watching during the Leonid showers years ago. Suddenly, the sky was lit up by several flashes going from south to north, low in the east. About 4 flashes, if? I remember correctly. A couple of seconds after the last flash. . .BOOM!!!! It literally shook the ground. It shook up the group I was with so much that they wanted to leave. What the heck was this?
